IMAP Mailbox very slow, POP3 Mailbox won't read message

Hi,

I'm still having issues trying to get my Messages running. I managed to get IMAP method started, but messages are being loaded very slow. It takes approx. 30 seconds to read INBOX content and to open a message.

I don't experience such a problem when I switch to POP3 method. Messages are being listed instantly and appear in the box without delay. However, I still can't read messages because they won't open as I click them.

Any hints how to fix this much appreciated.

    it speeds up imap considerably.

    hi,

    i am having the same issue. the vtiger(5.0.0) and imap server are running on the same server. it takes almost 3 minutes to fetch the folders and mails from my imap account. i am using dovecot as the imap server and php5. i am also running a horde/imp on the same server in which i run vtiger and doesn't have any speed issues. i tried the patch at :

    but still vtiger takes the same amount of time. i'm in big trouble. please help.
