Sender displayed when viewing emails in 'Sent Mail'

Hi,

This problem exists in 5.0.4 and 5.1svn. I am not sure what the logic is behind displaying the 'Sender' above the list of emails in the Sent Mail folder, for the sender is always me. The 'Sent To' field should be displayed. I searched the files, but so far have been unable to identify the file I would need to change. I noticed a much earlier post reporting this problem, but nobody seem to have cared to do anything about it. However, this issue continues to frustrate the people I offered vTiger.

What should be the fix and can the fix go into 5.1 (I guess the answer should be a resounding YES).

    i have just noticed that you recorded that this incident is minor. while it doesn't stop the whole of the crm working, this is still a major functionality glitch. just imagine you want to ride a bicycle but it has no pedals, instead you have to push it with one leg. but you argue that bicycles should have pedals, so the manufacturer creates a minor ticket because the bicycle still rolls on the road, so the absence of the pedals don't seem to be critical. however, the bicycle doesn't function as a bicycle, but rather as a pushbike, but who cares, at least it works as a pushbike.

    however, i suggest if your client wants to view the emails s/he sent to his/her customers s/he wants to see the customer's name in the email list, not himself/herself. just imagine you have hundreds or even thousands of emails on the list! do you suppose the user of the crm will click through all of them one by one to find the one s/he is after or will s/he simply migrate to a crm that works decently?

    so for me the incident is not minor. it can become a matter of decision when it comes to the product.

    every bug in the product will be reviewed on the issue tracker.

    the priority assigned indicates the impact of the issue on product's behavior.
    however, i suggest if your client wants to view the emails s/he sent to his/her customers s/he wants to see the customer's name in the email list...

    i would suggest opening the detail view of the customer then click on 'more information' tab. it will list all the email sent to customer.
