  while testing i would like to ask you for a clarification. in the invoice detail view you can push a link that says "email pdf". what is exacly going on if someone pushes this link?

  dear balduin,

  when you click on this send email with pdf link, it will open compose e-mail window with invoice pdf as attachment. so that you can send the attached pdf to your customers directly from the crm system.

  what can you tell us about the installation environment? is the installation manual still valid? what are the supported mysql and php versions? is php 5.2.x required?

  dear balduin,
  
  we will update the installation manual once we are doing with the validation test of the product.
  
  installation environment that was recommended for vtiger 5.0.3 will work fine for vtiger 5.0.4
  
  vtiger continues to work with php 5.1.x and php 5.2.x
  
  please send us your feedback if you notice any issues.

  found a bug that is also currently in 5.0.3:

  i added an event with the text "the quick brown fox is <3mm tall". if you hover over the subject line you will see this text, but if you click on the event it will not show. it looks like the code does not like the "<" character.

  tested on s-m-s 1.2 [ <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://sms.it-ccs.com/">http://sms.it-ccs.com/</a><!-- m --> ] and there are no more problems with outgoing mail...
