Almost everyone who intends to use the PDF output capabilities needs to modify the layout to fit to company needs. A new PDF configurator for v5.1.0 is available which provides a new PDF layout and a GUI to change the layout. This CRM extension is available at http://www.vtiger.com//index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=233&Itemid=179
Note that the ZIP file is >10 MB and is not vtiger Module Manager compatible.
Please read the readme.txt file for installation instructions. Be careful if you have modified your system before.

The screenshots below demonstrate the capabilities. You may change at your PDF:
- the language
- the font and font sizes
- the content of the header
- disable the footer
- the content of your colums
In comparison to the PDF configurator for v.5.0.4 (see http://forums.vtiger.com/viewtopic.php?t=21274&start=0) the follwing features have been added:
- disable the summary amount: Useful for instance, if you offer a monthly service
- you may have a different output format for quotes, orders or invoices
- whenever you select a servcie or product, the order number, the name, the product and service description are displayed. You will able to edit the product description and you may add a note for each individual line item.
- an administration interface is provided which allows you to block some configuration options to enforce company policies
- the process of adding a new language has been simplified. The PDF Configurator comes with English and German language preinstalled.
- you may select your paper format: A4 or letter
The parameters you can change is based on a collection from our customers wish lists.
You may give it a try and let me know how it works for you. If you need more flexibility, please post your requirements.

Fantastic extension!
If I may suggest the following;
- the option to change decimal from , to . would be nice in the panel
- the tax types are displayed as a total, some countries require each tax to be displayed separately, e.g. Canada, PST & GST, then Total
it would be great if there was an option that allows you to select; display total or display individual, which the individual would be pulled from the settings > Tax Calculations and your predefined taxes...
- a section which allows you to define the footer fields, IBAN, Bank Account Field, etc, instead of modifying the footer for each respective module...
- Add Part Numbers to display columns under individual and group
- Option to turn on and off status (which would display in the upper right)
w/ Invoice No., Date, etc. As well with valid till option...
Just a few ideas, but the tax one I think would be significant.
Thank You so much for your time, and once again, superb addition. I think it should be the new standard invoice template, its clean, simple and fresh.

Hi,
Just finshed installing. I found 3 issues
readme.txt
text error?
-5 tables instead of 6
Importing the db...txt into Mysql v5.0.51 results in a error;
/usr/bin/mysqlimport: Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the
right syntax to use near '-extensions FIELDS TERMINATED BY ',' ENCLOSED BY '"' IGNORE 0 LINES' at line 1, when using table: db-
extensions
Inseting the tables one by one works oke.
ge_de language files missing in Invoice
