win7+ vtiger5.4.0+ gmail : does email fields works?

I use vtiger 5.4.0 I love this CMR it works as I work!!!

I had problems with office otd but using rtf files works!!
Now I start to use emails and I see that fields do not works!
I prepare Template with Select fields Type i find the field I copy and paste it in the message window.
When I send it stay as field name:
If the template have write $accounts-accountname$ it is received not with the correct accountname but $accounts-accountname$ the mail merge is not done.

    yes it works!!!
    it works only with the right fields and only (why!!!!) on the email sent.
    not on the copy received.
    why not on the copy received on my server email?
