Hi everyone,
I would like to link more than one vendor to a product. Is that possible ?
Many tx in advance.
Kind regards,

  • hi karine,

    the only possible way to do this is to go to two separate vendors and select the same product there in each of their related list.in product end you can see only one vendor .

    else follow the vtlib documentation and create a ui type= 10 field in product and related it to vendor.you can find the vtlib documentation in the following link

    <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://wiki.vtiger.com/index.php/vtiger510:vtlib">http://wiki.vtiger.com/index.php/vtiger510:vtlib</a><!-- m -->
  • thank you very much for your reply. i will try that as soon as i get more confident with vtiger <!-- s;-) --><img src="{smilies_path}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" title="wink" /><!-- s;-) -->

  • hi,
    i saw this while browsing for something else but just a short input in case it helps.
    i had the same need before and tried to add another vendor type field.
    it was showing properly with the little add cross linking to the pop-up but i quickly realised it was not working.
    in fact by doing that you create two fields with the same name => of course javascript and so on cannot work.
    i guess one should create another uitype for vendor 2 and modify all the templates to manage it. but for myself i gave up at this point and just put the other vendor as an information with a text box.
