I have installed VTIGER.

I have gone into the settings and put in the smtp server details.

However, I can not use the email feature send email attached to a contact, although it looks like it sends it and records the email under emails sent section the email never arrives.

Also when I create a contact and give them portal access by clicking the option in the contact details and setting an appropriate start and end date for support. It does not email me the login details, I know this is suppost to happen because when I was evaluating VTiger it sent me an email fine.

I would have thought that it would have used the localhost smtp / send mail. But I am no Unix Guru so need some help delving here.
