We're looking to use vtiger to track attendance at events. However, we need to add more information to the events, ideally a free text field. Right now there is only a single line title field.
We need this for a commercial project, so we're happy to put in some developer time. The reason for this post is to ask for "stewardship" from an experienced vtiger developer to ensure that our code is compatible with future versions and could be integrated into the trunk if it was beneficial.
We'll hack away at it and solve the problem anyway, but we're happy to spend a bit more time and give something back that would be a useful addition.
Any willing volunteers, please let me know.
Cheers,
Callum. |

| As far as I can see you can't create custom fields for events or todos or the calendar module. Am I missing something? |

Hi,
I would like to know how you plan to track attendance to events now that you have the text field. I mean how would you go about tracking what people assited an event and which didn't.
Imagine you have 150 possible attendees. Is there a simple way of checking which came and which didn't?
