Hi,
Vtiger seems to be great, if all the little bugs will be out, but one major questions keeps me concerned: how to SPEEDUP VTIGER? With several thousand records the performance goes down quite a bit... what are the best efforts to get more out of this software in terms of SPEED?
THANK you very much for your attention!

A couple of options:
1. Use eAccelerator to boost your PHP performance, if you're not already using it.
2. Use Lighttpd instead of Apache, if you can. |

Mr. Dog.
how many records and what OS? I just did a search within my contacts to to generate 1500 results out of 30.000 contacts in less than a second. I would like to know more about your speed concerns. Could you be a little bit more specific, that would help me a lot.
On my box the change from windows to linux gave me 15% more speed. I think it would be helpful if we could create a kind of whitepaper that gives developers a clear picture how much hardware is needed in order to handle 25.000, 50.000 and 100.000 records in the DB with 5, 25 and 50 concurrent users. Anyone else out there who is willing to share some experiences?
Thanks

| Try to reduce the logs in log4php.properties from debug to warn or fatal. |
