Standard filtering in custom views and reports.
Hi,
Both in custom views and reports there are standard filters to be defined. They are very useful as it is possible to choose important information about scheduled or delayed critical events choosing them by flexibly defined dynamic variables for time frames ( today, this month, ect.)
However, it is a lack of base time filtering criteria like “Activity start date” and “Activity Due date” ( Create and Update date ONLY available) in standard filtering. I think that adding these filtering criteria to standard filters we would achieve new flexible control mechanism.
Someone can say that this lack is compensated in advanced filters, but here we have to use static values for time filters that do not allow to build universal views that would be automatically updated.
If anyone knows how to extend standard filtering criteria or use advanced filters with variables as criteria, please advice me how to make it. I’ll be grateful for advice.
