Hey 5 is very pretty, but many things in the pre-beat still do not work;
-Multiple contact select to email
-Quotes do not show products
-Adding quotes causes a pear error
-The links to move a quote to an sales order or invoice do not work
-The links to related quotes , orders, invoices do not work
-Campaigns are awkward. You can add multipel contacts or leads to a campaign
Many more things seem half done.
The new navigation is better now that the left side arrow panel is replaced by the "Open All Menu" |

Have to say that this is now looking very nice. All credit to what is clearly a very talented crew of interface designers/programmers. There's clearly quite a long way to go with the backend, but it's going to be great once it gets there.
We've just installed v4.2 at work - I decided we might as well get our users started rather than wait for the v5 release. I'm sure that migration is going to be a key feature, so I'm not too worried about upgrading at a later date.
Nice release!

I'm just wondering when vtiger crm 5.0 will be released, because I'm now to make a disission about sugar crm or vtiger 5.0.
Maybe someone can tell me the release date? |

| Hi there.I have a question. Supposed you post an activity for a certain user.Like an event for example.That certain user can see the posted activity in the activities tab.He/she must also see that posted activity in the calendar tab.The thing is,it isn't posted/can't be viewed.Only the admin can view the calendar events in the calendar tab.How can that user view the posted event or task in the calendar tab? |

| Hi!I've got a problem regarding the Assigned To Field in Creating New Account Page. In the Creating New Activity page,when I'm assigning a certain task/event to somebody,the only person who can view the posted Event/Task is the person who is in the same group or his/her superior. When I create new account to that same person,all of the person in the organization can view his/her account.Assigned To Field of Accounts must be similar to the Assigned to Field of Activities(same security for viewing). |
