Are there any works in allowing invoices/quotes to sent by the built-in email?

There is a demo integration of sugar at the following link that allows for this:

http://demo.longreach.net

I think that contributions could move a bit smoother/faster if some vt (non-core) programmers take more notice of new functional requests while other programmers enhance existing features as opposed to all non-core programmers customizing a particular feature, thousands of times for thousands of users, which could be very time consumming and it definetely slows down innovation.

Allowing the user to email invoices/quotes directly from the built-in email interface could be a new feature that the entire community may find beneficial and I'm sure I read it somewhere on the board before, but I'm not sure if is something that is being worked on at the this moment, or whether it will be part of the next release.

Any words on this?

I've noticed some of the programmers at the code contrubution section moving a line down for one user, then moving it up for another and the list goes on and on for a very long time without anything new taking place. I think that as programmers we have to realize that if an application is used by 100% of people, 99.999% of those users will request for a custom job. In many cases those custom jobs are too specific to the user to be a real contribution to the community.

Please do not misunderstand this by not helping users as without users, we will not go very far, but simply understand that a programmer's time should be used wisely and some of those user-custom jobs could be handled by some programmers, while other programmers could look for solutions to new feature requests.
