Hi,

i was wondering how to implement a little new feature for a module. It isnt a feature for releasing, its something very special for us. But we still want to update the module when it gets updated, without copying the code from the old module to the new one. Is there a guideline for updating a module? It could be resolved by adding a new custom field where html can be used, and the opportunity to make custom fields write protected.

The feature is just a little button with a form, that gets posted to another page to automatically log in to another backend.

Maybe someone has an idea.
