Hi - I'm a complete newbie to vTiger, but was wondering if anyone has tried to rejig the Customer Portal so that users can create their own logins? The workflow I'm hoping to satisfy is:
1. new customer submits a quote request form, and in it they specify a username and password
2. quote request gets sent to admininstrator and customer is also emailed a 'login activation' email
3. customer activates and logs into Customer Portal and can see the quote request in there already, pending an update
4. quote request status is updated by administrator
5. quote request status is updated in Customer Portal, and customer also receives an email notification of the update
