|
|
HI All
I have raised this with the developers but they have asked me to post it in the forums in case anyone has a suggestion.
*************************************
I have installed and configured your ProjectManagement Module v3 into
my vtigerCRM 5.0.4 system and everything but adding Projects to
Trouble Tickets is working.
I am able to create new projects, I am able to add employees and I can
also add Trouble Tickets to the project, however when creating a new
trouble ticket I am unable to select the project - I simply do not see
the Project section on the trouble tickets page. I have to create the ticket, then go back into the project and link the new ticket with the project itself.
I have tested this in both Firefox and IE 7 - we normally only use IE
for the vTiger - and we dont see the Projects list when creating
Trouble Tickets in any browser
Any assistance would be appreciated
************************************
Anyone got any suggestions how I can fix this? |

Well - after 180 odd views of this topic and no answer it would seem that my question is simply not answerable
Pity as everything else is working fine - I just cant select the relevant Project when creating a ticket........ |

Hi Navitas,
I reached the same conclusion as you.
I'm now thinking about the possibility of writing my own project module using the new facility of VTLIB v3 and then using tstimesheets for time-keeping.
It does seem odd that they haven't altered the tickets to accommodate a project.
It's almost the complete opposite of what we would wish.
