vTiger is a great product which I'm evaluating.Is the functionality i.e. creating and/or updating trouble tickets via email coming in vtiger 5.1, if not when can we expect this functionality to come any time soon (is it being worked on)??Forums seen on this subject are:

| it seems that this isnt theyr priority, because this feature has been requested ages ago, and no progress is seen :( sad, vtiger seemed too good to be true, now we found the weak spot. |

| only problem is that, there is nothing about feature we are requesting here, there you can see the implementation of making trouble tickets from inbox messages(webmail), we are talking here about automated script that will make ALL emails sent to support@example.com to trouble tickets automaticaly. |

I understan this feature will come with 5.1.
Automaticaly getting an email from an external mailbox and creating a vTiger object about it will be very good way to manage our business.
For example emails sent to support@company.com can automaticaly become a support ticket and/or emails sent to asktosales@company.com can become a lead. |

We now have introduced Mail Scanner in vtiger CRM 5.1 using which you can automate the email ticketing.
