Was moseying through stuff today and looked at a Contact who I knew had an enquiry going on. Strangely, the Potential wasn't there on his information page.

I looked around and saw that there was a Potential but it was not associated with the Contact, only with the Account. After a little investigation it seems that the ONLY place you can associate a Contact with a Potential is :

1. From Potential / More Information / Select Contact (AFTER you have CREATED the Potential)

2. Create the Potential from the Contact / More Information page

Is there anyway that we can add in Contact details at the the time of creation from Potentials, Accounts and Campaigns ? It would be far more logical to have the option - it sure as hell outflanked my staff.

Bearing in mind that the product is Contact led, it seems a big hole that needs to be rectified.

The code must be there already but needs adding in the right place. Anyone got any ideas ?

The other thing that I found mildy irritating at this point is that I wanted to create a custom view of all the Potentials showing whether they were associated with a contact so I could click and edit those that weren't. Seems I can't do that it either !

So to do it I now have to go into full edit of every Potential and select the appropriate contact. Not much fun, and many, many hours of work.......... unless someone has some simpler solutions ?
