Greetings, all

I'm trying to migrate our old VT 4.x install to a brand new server with more resources running 5.0.4, just downloaded. The installation was completely painless, and I was able to log into the new server first try. Spiffy.

The bizzaro started with the migration tool. I'm using the "Migration from vtiger 4.2.x (4.2Patch2/4.2.3/4.2.4) to Current Version (5.0.4)" option. Nothing seems to actually be migrated in, using options 1 or 2. I haven't tried three yet, since it just seemed a more complicated version of 2 for my purposes.

Option 1 - I have access to vtiger CRM live database system: I have verified mysql connectivity between the new and old server. I can log in and issue queries from new to the old. I enter the MySQL credentials and give the server path (/usr/bin). I click Migrate. I get back "The Source database dump taken may not contain all values. So please use other option."

So I go to Option 2.

Option 2 - I have access to vtiger CRM archived database dump: So I made a MySQL dump file of the old server files and applied the recommended edits to the file. I then Browse to the file and select it. I then give the server path (/usr/bin). I click Migrate. There is a brief pause and I'm back at the Admin user dashboard. None of my data is present.

Any suggestions?
