vtiger

hi guys,

after falling down during the first attempt, i have finally recovered to use vtiger again.

I hope i can still recover from my first foolishness, i had installed vtiger on my xp box :) how ever some day , i installed iis on the same box :(

I have uninstalld iis now :)

However, when ever i start the XP machine , it assume port 80 and mysql port are still being in used and vtiger cannot use it .

Well that is one story.

Now , i have installed ELASTIX which has vtiger in it in a totally different box so that i dont do this foolishness any more.

How ever what i am trying to find out is the potential of the ticketing system,

I run a very small business from home, fixing people computer and setting up wireless internet kind of thing for my customers.

It becomes very tough to handle all this as a single man and i cannot afford to employ any one.

What i am trying to do is , having vtiger set up in such a way that , with the click of a shortcut on the clients desktop, The client can log inn to my vtiger box and then place a ticket :)

This will make my life so good and organised and then i can use the calendar function of vtiger to the most :)

and then , i can act accordingly :)

i have got a adsl modem/router at home,

so i can forward the ports accordingly.
