Hi,

Brand new to vTiger. Just installed it tonight and I have a question.

We sell software online, and so had setup PerlDesk here: support dot berrysoft dot net to function as our customer support desk.

However, the last time we used this we found that we ended up keeping customer records to record things like their activation keys and email etc.

Now, I have installed the customer portal of vTiger, because we were going to consider using it for our support desk. However, it seems that unlike my current setup, customers cannot create their own accounts to initiate a support request, and file a trouble ticket.

Is this correct? The downside of this to me is that if we get 10,000 orders on our store, I don't want to have to manually create an account for each user. PerlDesk lets them do this, and then verifys their email before allowing them to submit a trouble ticket.

This functionality would be highly desireable.
