Is it possible to add numerous company details and those details to be associated with users?

If you import it from Xcel, you should be able to match the colum headers with the vaious field names, and thus you'd have to make sure that you assign the user names already in xcel, but remember they must all be exactly as per the users that are in vtiger else you might get issues
