IntraMessenger is an instant messenger, can authenticate (login+password) through vtigerCRM.
You dont need to be connected in vtigerCRM, just can contact your "friends/teams/...".
Server is PHP/MySQL, make easy for the administrator to choise all options, for display, contact manage, lock...
Client :
(only on Windows, sorry...)

How to do in vtigerCRM ?
NOTHING to change inside vtigerCRM (a good news !)
Just have to active option _AUTHENTIFICATION_ON_VTIGERCRM
and if necessary change paremeters to vtigerCRM (host, database, login and password) in file vtigercrm.config.inc.php (nothing else).
On (Windows) clients, install and choose the url of installing IntraMessenger,
write same login and password (same vtigerCRM), and lets go.

New version is online ! (server 1.4.0, client 1.06)
- lock user after x password errors.
- smileys
- user email and phone number
- display avatar on contact request
- improve security
- maintenance mode
- ...
