With vquickedit (http://forge.vtiger.com/projects/vquickedit) you will can now update multiple record at once. This avoids you to edit each and every record!

Based on the feedback on this feature, the plugin was enhanced to support almost all the modules of vtiger CRM now.

Nice add-on.
I did some quick testing and was able to mass change some fields. This add-on did not work when trying to mass change the "Assigned To" user.

Hi Reg,
vquickedit has limitations on updating few special fields types like 'Assigned To'. Hoping to fix it going forward.
If you need the customization kindly let us know about it.

It is not possible to restrict the access-permission to vquickedit at present.

Hi Prasad -
Maybe you can remove the fields that do not work with vquickedit from the drop down screen such as the "Assigned To" field so this does not create confusion.
As a side note I realized the mass change for the "Assigned To" field can be done with the "Change Owner" button.

Thank you for the feedback. We are planning for improve this feature and integrate it with product going forward.
