vtiger

Greetings; I'm very keen on using vitger as my CRM solution. I had previously considered using SalesForce or NetSuite, the latter recommended by a client of mine, but neither of those two felt like they fit me; vtiger does.

I have been doing IT consulting for residential and commercial clients for the last four years. I will be moving out to an office on the main street of town at the end of next month and will be delving into a bit of retail sales as I recently became a Dell Registered Partner and a Lenovo Authorized Reseller.

I met vtiger on my search for a way to catalog purchases while tying a serial number to each account for warranty purposes... that's my main goal - pretty simple. I am looking forward to the other features such as inventory management, Outlook integration and Quickbooks integration.

I'm in the process of testing out Quickbooks integration but am running into a soap error which is the reason I came to these forums. My wife is an accountant and soon-to-be CPA and she's pretty hesitant, though I could convince her, on leaving Quickbooks behind (i.e. I use NetSuite). I'm hoping the Quickbooks integration is solid but I really don't know what to expect.
