Hi Guys,

I have the following problem:
After installing vtiger Outlook Plugin 5.04 over Outlook 2003, the vtiger toolbar appear in my Outlook interface!
Trying to use I can just log in/out to my vtiger. But if I try to Associate an e-mail to a vtiger contact is not possible. There is not any contact that I can see in this window.
More, the Sync options in vtiger toolbar is always deactivated even if I set the sync option in Preference.
And No vtiger Tab in Outlook/Tools/Option as I read it in help!

Could someone know the problem? :(
BTW (I tried also to uninstall the plug-in, to delete the folder, to delete all the registry keys containing vtiger, restart computer and reinstall the plug-in -> the same behavior as I described!)
and I remember that in v5.03 this plug-in was working fine? Could be something with my sistem?

Hi

I found the issue!!!
In fact there is not any troubles with installation or hardware.
The problem is simply related with vtiger/outlook behavior!

I just discover that if I want to "Associate with vtiger" an e-mail from Outlook I can do this only for the contacts created by my user in vtiger (or assigned to my user).

Now I'm facing with another problem. What should I set in vtiger in order to be able that anyone in a company to be able to associate an Outlook e-mail to any Contact stored in Vtiger (doesn't matter who is the owner!).

Is this possible?

(in the real world, a contact could exchange important data with more sales or technical persons in a Company so, if we want to attach various e-mails from various sales rep to a contact in vtiger, how to do this?)

Same problem here is there a way to associate e-mails to contacts which aren't assigned te the user.

Is there way how to sinchronize Outlook contacts
with vTiger contacts assigned not only to my own account
but with contacts assigned to joined group of users
?
