I am going to make a pure CSS (no tables) quote/invoice generator using domPDF:

This way people could make some really beautiful correspondence for their customers. This would be great for people in the service industry and branding.

Glad to know about the initiative you have taken. I would certainly like to be a part of the project. But not sure I how much I can contribute, right now.
