Hello folks. I would be really greatful if someone could give me some advice here. I have been posting the same question since last Wednesday without any replies.

VTIGER is a great product but it is unsettling that no one seems to wish to comment on 5.0.4 portal install issues I am having.

My install is latest version, 5.0.4 vtigercrm and matching portal version. Have read and followed the manuals, searched the forums and yet found no case the same.

Getting 500 server error on customer portal URL.

Permission look fine, configs are match to spec. Only thin I can think of is that the 5.0.4 version of the customer portal might not work under php5.2.5.

There is a fix for php5.2 and vtiger 5.0.3 but it is hard to believe that a downgrade is the right solution.

Does anyone know whether 504 is a working release ? Our environment looks like this:

Apache version 2.2.8 (Unix)
PHP version 5.2.5
MySQL version 5.0.45-community-
log
Architecture x86_64
Operating system Linux

Hi,

I have customer portal working fine under Linux, apache 2.2.3 and php 5.2.5
I'd say your problem is with a misconfigured or unpermitted .htaccess file in the customer portal. In any case your error is at the apache level so have a look at the apache log to see what is happening.

The solution is that permissions on files need to be set as 0644 not 0664.

Anyone with similar problem I recommend try this and / or contact your host provider support.

Would you care to look at my error as well? Iv posted the logs from Apache aswell
