Hi, my name is Michael, CEO of Landmark Enterprises. We're a floor tile distributor here in Ghana and right now I'm testing vtiger 504 on my laptop to see if it suits our needs.

I notice that the "Product Category" and "GL Account" under INVENTORY comes pre-populated with some info that I dont need. How do I get rid of that?

Hi OsaBarima,

Goto Settings -> Picklist Editor -> Select the module 'Products'.

You will find all the available picklists and their values. You can edit them to remove existing values or add new values.

One thing to pay attention to:

The Select Role : you will have to modify each role with the new Pick list details. I haven't found a faster way that selecting the roles and Select parent role

It seems there is a bug, because I have made the same picking list for each existing role (always based on parent role CEO) and when I edit a product I have the picking list with one choice that doesn't exist anymore..

Another question : what is the CEO choose in the list something that is not in the list of a sales man. What will the Sales man see since he migth not be able to see the CEO list?
