Sir,
I am working with Vtiger CRM 5.0.4, and working with mail merge.
I created template and saved in Vtiger using Mailmerge Template.
But when I do Mailmerge it shows message.
"Click here to return to the previous pageRequires to download ActiveX Control from vtigerCRM. Please, ensure that you have administration privilage"

I work with Window Vista, Msoffice word , IE as per your requirements.
I logged in as admin in VtigerCRM. I have done securiy settings of IE as per your requirement.

Pl.guide me how to download Activex Control from VtigerCRM

The trick is quite simple, but a bit tricky.

you have to put your vtiger-site in the trusted internet zone and set all security settings for this zone to the lowest as possible
