Hi,

I installed the tsolucio:timesheet add on into my 5.0.3 vtiger system.
Now I am facing two problems:

- the end_date turns into 00.00.00 after saving a new timesheet. Therefore the total time is not calculated correctly

- the stopwatch buttons are not shown

Has anyone run into similar problems?

Thanks
heinz

Hi,

Yes there are others in your situation. Most have stopped asking so I really never knew where the problem is.
There does seem do be some problem with the module on windows but since I don't use windows I have no idea.

The buttons should appear if you haven't got errores in the patch. You could try eliminating the Smarty cache and verify that the Buttons.tpl have the necessary code.

As to the end_time all I can say is that it is working on the installations we have made, also on the vtiger-spain.com demo. The resolution is minutes so if you don't wait over a minute it will always be 0 (just in case).

We have installation services.

Hi Joe,

thanks for the answer.
I am running everything on a linux system too.
I didn't find the time for in-depth debug so far but I will let you know when I figure it out why it is not working on my machines.

B.T.W. are you planning to pick up the development of your projectmanagement add-on again? Your vtiger-spain demo looks really interisting with the integration of projects, timesheet and timecards.

Keep up the good work!
Thanks

Timesheet
Keep me informed with your findings so that I can help you (and others) and plan fixes during the 5.0.4 upgrade

TSProjects
The truth is that I am very tempted. You can't imagine how many people are asking me for this, but nobody really seems in enough need to finance it. I am begining to think that it really isn't that neccessary. I must admit that it is a selling advantage, but experience shows me that you can cover the true needs of the users with low customization of existing entities. Which is what I think most of the people who ask and then don't execute are ending up doing (or they go somewhere else).

In any case I do think it could be usefull to reach vtiger's goal of being the most popular CRM in the market: a project module makes a lot of noise, even if nobody is using it

Joe,

I am testing vt 5.0.4 and have a few questions as I can not find any documentation for TS Timesheets.

is TS Timesheets expected to run with vt 5.0.4?

As well I am running mysql 5.0.51. What version of TS Time sheet should I try to install?

Now most importantly, I can not find any install instructions for TS Timesheet. Where are the install instrucitons?

Cheers

No.
We are currently upgrading this extension with community member funding. Further support and donations are needed and welcome.
It should be downloadable around the end of next month. Funding community members will have it sooner.

Mysql version should be irrelevant as long as it isn't too old. On the forge you will currently only find versions for vtigerCRM <=5.0.3

Click on the package notes. The instructions are basicly the same for all our extensions:
- unzip from top of vtigerCRM install
- apply patch
- exec config_extension as vtigerCRM admin
