Hi,
I have vtiger 5.0.3 installed on a webhoster named "siteground".
Mysql: 5.0.45
Apache:1.3.37
The system works fine - but outlook plugin can not connect to my server. I have Outlook 2002 and the plugin 5.0.3 installed.
I can connect to vtiger demo but not to my vtiger installation. I always get the error message "Unable to access the vtiger URL".
I saw several posts here but no solution for me. Has anyone solved the problem or could give some help?

Hi Balduin,
I think it should be a server config issue as I can connect to the vtiger-demo site. But thank you for your post.
Is there someone who had the same problem and could solve it?

Maybe someone made the plugin working at siteground.com. Siteground could not help for now. They do not feel responsible - though I think it must be a server's issue.
It works with the vtiger demo site! |

Found the solution myself...
Problem was that siteground team were too lazy to install the php 5.2 patch and instead add an handler into .htaccess to use php 5.1. After installing the patch and using 5.2 it worked.
the poor support of siteground cost 5 days work... |
