empty Leads screens

Whether I try to open Marketing -> Leads or if I try to run either of the reports from Analytics -> Reports -> Lead Reports, nothing is returned (although there is 128,000 leads in the system). Please give me some direction on how to troubleshoot or an idea where the problem might lie.

Hi jpcarter1,

The scenario you discussed here is possible if the Lead module is set to private and the user who is trying to view the lead records doesn't have any record assigned to itself.

Kindly ensure it in settings and see if it helps.

I set the Leads module to Public: Read Only and still nothing. Just to clarify, not only is there no records shown, but the entire line that would say "Sales > Leads" and the tools that include the plus sign (Create Lead), the magnifying glass (Search in Leads) is missing.

It turns out that the problem was that there was a problem with a Custom View (aka 'filter') and it was set as default.

To fix: php.ini register_long_arrays must be On. After setting it to On you must restart the web server. At this point new Custom Views can be created and will work properly but the old ones must be manually removed from the tables.

Thank you for sharing the information about the php configuration that fixed your problem. We have fixed this in vtiger 5.0.4.
