On www.estufe.com ths system is doing a backup at any my logout of 2MB going on this directoion, soon I'll have backups of over 10MB and more and in one year I'll have more of 10GB of backups.. How I could do backups compressed with the famous gzip or .zip format?

this opensource is doing compressed backups and is easy to install on any mysql db:
