Found the Customer Portal Add On but noted that the documentation mentions only Windows as a system requirement?
Cannot be installed on a Linux only server?
Or is it just the automated installation application that mandates Windows?
In other words: can it be installed on Linux (or Solaris?) provided that a working Apache, MySQL, PHP and vTigerCRM are available already?
BTW ... is there any experience installing and running vTiger on Solaris?

Hi,
You can surely install Customer portal on Linux and the procedure for Custom portal installation is same on both Windows and Linux. Sorry for the misleading documentation. Will try and update them soon. |
