Does anybody have a solution to fix the login issue with the office plugin. I can connect over http but not over https. I am using version 5.03 of vtiger
the following error is displayed when I try to log in
"vtiger CRM Word Plug-in cannot connect to the server"
The Outlook plugin connects fine over https. |

Well you are one ahead of me as I cant get it to login to either.
I have asked this questions several times with no replies!

Hello,
We are also experiencing this exact same problem. Has anyone figured this out or have any suggestions? We really don't have any option other than keeping HTTPS.

| The word plug-in does not connect to the vtiger server for me either. If anyone is listening there are many of us here who would like to fix this situation. Please help. |

Hi there,
and the same goes for us. we are using 5.0.4 rc
and office 2003, and all i get is "Invalid return value by vtiger CRM"
whenever i change the username pass to anything wrong i still get the same message. when i change the url settings ill get an cannot connect error. any suggestions?

i solved my problem.
the problem is that version CRM 5.0.4-rc does not give a clear version error when using officeplugin 5.0.4.
tho when i downloaden office plugin 5.0.4-rc all was fine
