Running Vtiger 5.0.3 with Office Plugin 5.0.3
MS Word 2003 SP2


I am using the plugin for Thunderbird and Outlook and both login OK

My Office plugin is not loggin in. I have the same user info and each time it says: "Vitiger Word Plugin cant log into server"

I am not sure what to do. Help Please!

I finally found the answer to this question.

If at install you did not use a machine name or proper domain for your install, you have to go the the vtiger config.inc.php and change the value to your install domain.

could you explain in more details what to change in the configinc.php file i have the same problem as you have. I am using 2003 office and CRM 5.0.3 with php 5.1

Hey Kcabe

am not a my machine, but make sure of two things

1. that you are using the same plugin that goes with that version of vtiger.

2. Go to your configinc.php file. There you will see this value
$site_URL = 'http://192.168.1.1';

Change the IP address to either your vtigers server ip address or domain.

and i have in there the url link of my vtiger like http://....

do i need to have the IP instead?

Still no luck, i need to use mail merge etc

I have

the plug-in version 5.0.3
Microsoft 2003 SP3

I can login using the outlook plug-in but not the ms office one.

I have the correct $site_URL = ... in my config.inc.php file

any ideas?
