I've been using GoldMine dbase version for 15 years and now I need to move to a new platform.

I would appreciate any comments/experience for users of GoldMine who have moved to VTiger.

In particular how they moved the data from

CONTACT1
CONTACT2
CONTSUPP
CONHIST
CAL

and where the data was moved to

I haven't used Goldmine for sometime. Are you still able to export the data? That might be your easiest way to migrate your data.

Hi Brian,

No problems with exporting the data, I have a number of tools for that. I was more interested in which tables the Profile Details and History records were placed in VTiger.

hi there,

I haven't got to the conversion yet, but I have converted an Access client with 5 users across to vTiger. It is early days yet. I can see there are a few holes in the pending activity and history, but there is at least some promise of moving ahead.

The big stopper would be remote synch I think; but few people use it now. And vTiger has an addon they say to do this.

I'll be looking into that soon.
