I have installed and am using Vtiger 5.0.3, I am a IT consultant a need to figure out the best way to use Vtiger in the service industry. At this time I can not charge a client half a service hour, because vtiger does not deal well with decimal points. How are other in the service industry using vtiger? please let me know.

We are also in the process of using vtiger, we are an IT consultancy.
Could you not create a product for 30 mins support / consultancy time?

Yes I have done a product that is for 30 Minutes, but it realy looks bad on the invoice, because I may have 4 hours plus a 1, 30 minute product. So I am still tring to figure out the best way of doing this. If you come up with anything let me know. Thanks.

Is this now standard in the 5.04RC release as I have just created an invoice with 1.5 as a quantity?
Thanks

It is not fixed as there is a less than 1 check on quantity so I can enter 1.5 hours but I can not enter a charge of just 0.5 or 0.75

This does work. I never have had to do .5 of a service but I have had to make a 1.5 service unit.
I just tried it with .5, and .75 and both of them gave my partial service fee. |

izielink are you using 5.0.3 or 5.0.4? It doesn't work in 5.0.3 I had to change the validation code in Inventory.js to allow values less than 1.
