Hi All,
I have started a new plugin project for vtiger. It is vlaunchy.
Project Home Page:

Download the first version here:
http://forge.vtiger.com/frs/download.php/402/vlaunchy-0.1.zip
Installation:
1. Copy vlaunchy.js to include/js
2. Add <script type='text/javascript' src='include/js/vlaunchy.js'></script> in your Smarty/templates/Header.tpl
Usage:
Click the vlaunchy button just beside quick create selection box.
Type in 'sales lead' and hit enter
You should be redirected to Sales -> Lead
Send in your feedback and suggestion on this plugin.
Refer documentation for more details.

Do you have already an idea how to make it working with other default languages than English? |

Hi Balduin,
Thank you for trying it out. I have made sure the file to be easily translatable to other languages.
At present you can edit the vlaunchy.js and translate the strings that appears in (LABELS, moduleAndDefParentTab, parentTab)
I will try to come-up with something to have easy translation.
Kindly share you feedbacks.

Prasad,
the translated file for German is attached. As you may see there is an unsolved UTF8 issue with that. The German expression for salesorder is "Verkäufe". While the view switch works for instance with "Ver" as the search term, it does not work with "Verkäufe". In addition, for a professional layout I would recommend to create a new CSS entry for it. |
