The app seems a bit flaky.
It won't let me add a link. and also some drop down menus freeze and won't let choose anything. You have to click of off that menu (link menu and target), then go back to pick something else.
The resource browser also gives this error.
xml error 404
Also happens when you make a folder.
Thanks in advance!! |

Richie,
I am sorry about that.

Version: 4.2 GA Validation
Release Date: 28 Jun 2005
Thanks again. |

This still looks like it is not working in 4.2 GA
Does anybody else have this problem?
Thanks in advance |

Sorry for the delay, but just came back from vacation, so I need to get up to speed on vTiger, I see there is a new version and I am eager to test it out.
There are so many threads around here, that it was kinda hard find that I was being called...
At a first look it seems to be a file referencing problem (maybe the rendered HTML source will tell) in the fckeditor configuration, but I will have a closer look, shouldn't be hard to solve...
By the way Richie I recommend using the latest fckeditor version, since it is much better than the one it is being used in vTiger.
If you want I can zip it up in the

...thread...
I'll be back in little while... hopefully
Thanks for your great work...

Hi vito,
I didn't even had the time to test vT 4.2 on my system, but i tested the demo site and it is working fine with links.
You must type something and select that text before you can add a link, I think that is your problem, you are not selecting a text for hiperlinking (what i mean is the text that is between the <a></a> tags).
"also some drop down menus freeze and won't let choose anything"
Which ones? I can't spot any in the demo site...
"The resource browser also gives this error.
xml error 404 "
To tell the truth I think this goes beyond what I want a user to be able to do, but this happens probably because there is no disk permissions for doing this kinds of operations on the server.
My believe is that this server browsings and file operations should be avoided.
About the zip, I'll try to test things up during weekend and upload something...
