Hello vtigers,

We thank you all for helping us in validation phase of vtiger 5.0.4 and expect the same going forward.

During this session we have identified more than 100 bugs. We have fixed most of the critical, blocker and major bugs.

At present, we are working with security issues that was identified during the validation phase.

We will update you with more information soon, kindly bear with us in the meantime.

Hi,

I hop you can help me / give me some advice onto which version I should update to...

We've got vtiger 5.0.2 at the moment. Because this old version has got so many bugs, we've been meaning to update it to 5.0.3 for a while - but didn't have time...

Now, I'm not sure if I should wait for 5.0.4...
Any news on when the vtiger CRM 5.0.4 will be released - as we do need to update soon (at least this year) ?

As we need a stable version... Which one will be better? What's your advice?

It is always a good idea to go ahead step by step. v5.0.3 fixes more than 1000 bugs of v5.0.2. I guess that will bring you a large step forward.

The migration function that comes with v5.0.3 works in most cases. You may search this forums for hints if you experience any problems.

There are substancial changes with v5.0.4 (e.g. UTF-8 based DB). I think you will be better prepared for this version if you have migrated to v5.0.3 first.
