Hi,

I have the same problem with Outlook 2003.
In vTiger I use UTF-8 encoding and everything is ok, bu when I sync vTiger with Outlook I have wrong chars.

Did you find solution for this problem?

I wonder is it outlook problem or maybe SOAP configuration?

Regards,
Marcin

Same problem here, very annoying. Our web server runs UTF-8 (Fedora Core 4), and I'd prefer not to change that due to other web sites and their configuration.

Other than this, the Outlook plugin is working great for us.

Can someone from the vtiger team help us. Maybe there's nothing to do, just wait to V5....

Please give us an answer.

Hi, for Russian I resolved this only by switching from UTF-8 to koi-8r, which is 1-byte table. After such switching to 1-byte table I had no problems. Maybe you should try with one of the ISO- tables which soes correspond to your language.

It seems to me (correct me if I am wrong) that the problem is with Outlook itself...(

Hope this helps.

Now I can create Contact from Outlook to vTiger correctly (RU.UTF-8)

But when I try to import mail from Outlook, vTiger plugin says "Failed to read answer".
