Dear community,
i’m proud to announce the general availability of the alpha version of SyncML Support for vtiger CRM.
This code is for testing purpose !
You can download here : http://forge.vtiger.com/projects/syncml/
I want to thanks the members of “La junior AEI” for their good job on this code and specially Simon, Sylvain and Nicolas.

Hi Aissa,
I try to unzip the file, but I get no directory with php-files. I get only one file without *.php at the end. I tried with windows and linux as well always the same result. Could you provide a new zip-file for the community???
Thanks a lot for your work.
I post my experience with this tool when I have the new zip-file. |

I Martin,
i havce no problem to unzip our file (under linux/mac/win).
Balduin, the file is correct for you ? Or you experience the same problem than Martin ? |

Aïssa,
the download is ok but so far non of our devices did connect. I am almost sure that this is only a configuration issue. Do you have any hints or a list of devices which you used for testing? |

To connect use :
http://<yourcrmurl>/syncml/sync.php
and your usual crm username & password.
I think the best way is i work on english user doc to help you.
The device list is provided (i think) on the funambol website. |

Hi Aissa,
the plugin works but only with contacts, the other kind of data (calendar and tasks) get some problems. Is normal or must they work fine as contacts?
We have tried with plugin for outlook on outlook 2003.

ps: did you think there is any particular problem to use your patch with the funambol 6 series plugins? |

Hi,
actually we have only tested with 3x client.
The plug-in support contact/calendar sync only (i will publish the latest version soon).
Second important point : i don't plan to improve this plug-in (no time to spend sorry) and my customer doesn't need this code, so feel free to improve (all community). The code is clean, well documented, so now it's your's.
Happy to learn the plug-in is working fine in italia ;-) |
