Anyone see this:

I have Outlook 2007 on Windows XP ... worked first time:

blogs DOT creadev DOT net/benj

Seems to be lost ... not a mention of it here. Shame as the VTiger native one does not work with 2007 as you all know ... maybe this development can be leveraged ?

By the way, I have the VTiger native Outlook Plugin installed ... when I uninstall it, it de-registers msxml30.dll ? and some other things ... bottom line is that a heap of stuff stops working. Took a while to work it out. So I re-installed it and just don't use it ... because it doesn't work.

Is this related to vtiger product? We are looking into the issue have mentioned about outlook plug-in un-installation. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Yes, the un-installation problem is related to the VTiger Outlook plug in ... it unregisters / unintalls ? at least one core dll as mentioned.

The other comment stands ... seems crazy to be developing 2 separate Outlook plugins particularly when the one I mentioned works perfectly on Outlook 2007 already ... !

Hi

I installed the outlook plugin into Outlook 2003 on XP, it worked fine, i have just changed laptops and running Vista but contnue to use Outlook 2003 and i can see the toolbar in Outlook, but it wont sync my contacts, which is a real nitemare.

Maybe Outlook Plugin not supposed to work on Vista although there is nothing to say that it wont, or perhaps there is another version coming for Vista, if so when?

Correct ... there are lots of threads here about the vTiger Outlook plugin no working ... which I why I posted the Sharp vTiger plugin which I have working fine on Office 2007 and Windows XP.

Do a search for the Outlook Plug in (recent) and you'll find issues related to DLL registration, security, and some other things.

Hi !

There are a some instructions related to pre-requisites ... I would suggest contacting the plug-in developer. I have Outlook 2007 with Windows XP fully updated ... worked first time.

As I have said before, having 2 plugins going which do the same thing in an OS product seems a little crazy ... Sharp plugin works and seems to be written in more recent language. But if the existing one can be fixed, that's be fine, I am not emotional about it.

We have tested outlook plugin in windows Vista ,We faced some issue,but when I installed my plugin
with admin account I did not face any issues.In order to use outlook plugin in windows Vista you need
to have full permission in your system to do the synchronizing.
If you don't have permission you will be ended with an error.

Please get back to me if I am wrong.

Has anyone used this with Outlook 2000? This plug-in solves one of the main I have with the 5.0.3 version which is synching items marked private.
