Hi, Everybody,
If i want to use filter to collect the CONTACTS which had been assigned to more than 10 person, what should i do?
I used advanced filter, and set ASSIGN TO CONTAINS A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I, then there is no area, and after i save it, some irrelevant information which belongs to user P are also show up.
Can anybody explaine this?
Also, once I been informed that the filter can adopt approx search, but when i input just part of the users name, say, if the full name of the user is Matt Bradley, then when i just input matt, a lot of irrelevant users will show up. Does the system searched by single letter instead of sequence of letter?
if so, what should i do if i can't remenber clearly what the exact name?
many thanks in advance. |

Hi elainea,
Currently in vtigerCRM you can specify upto 5 different conditions in advanced filter. As you are having more than 10 users, you need to set the condition within these 5 conditions. best way to do this is first collect all the users name contains only one word and put it in one condition. for eg: consider users Mary, Brown, Linda, Susan and Xavier. for these users you can set the condition like Assigned To equals Mary, Brown, Linda, Susan, Xavier
if the user name has more than one word(eg: Smith Mary), it is better to specify it as a separate condition. if you specify the multiple users in a single condition, it will not give proper result. I hope this helps you.
Thanks & Regards,
