| 2setConfig.php has all database fields in the html forms set to "readonly". Deleting the "readonly" allowed me to install smoothly. |

Hi!
I am Richie.
I am working on making the installation a very simple process. Towards that end, I would like to know what kind of issue was faced by you during the installation. It would be great if you could provide me with some background info on your system setup as well. This will help me analyze the problem more completely.
We are striving to make the product-installation a breeze. Hence, all issues reported will be taken up at right earnest.
Do let us know what you feel about the product.
Thanks,
Richie |

Well I think my post really says it all. I wanted to use a different database and database user but I couldn't change it during the install process because the form has those fields set to read-only.
I was installing from source because the package also tries to install apache and mysql which I already have (and I think the vast majority of users will already have). If the installation package did detection of existing installations this would be better. |

Sorry that we didn't understand your request at the first instance. We have posted this issue as a bug in the sourceforge project page. We will soon fix this issue and will let you know.
Thanks for your feedback.
Please have your feedbacks coming.
