Couldn't get the group listing

I upgraded to vtiger 5.0.3 from vtiger 4.2 patch2 using option 3. After the migration everything worked fine expect the main home page. It displays the following error message "get the group listing"
I tried to create a new group but I still have the same problem. Any help will be really appreciated.
