I would like to see that you can make a todo-task for somebody else. This is only possible as a administrator. Can this be able for also the normal users?

In vtigerCRM, Calendar is set as Private by default. so an user can see his own, his groups and his subordinate activities. in the same way the normal user can assign a todo to himself or to his group or to his subordinate. he cann't assign it to admin or his boss. there is an exception in this. the normal user can assign the todo to any of the crm users if he has the Global Privileges(View All & Edit All) permission. if the user has this permission, he is permitted to edit/delete administrator records also.

Is there a way to assign todo's between sales team members within a group?

We would like group members to be able to assign todo's to other members within the group reguardless of thier role or position.

During our sales cycle it is common for a 'salesman' to have to assign a task to a 'sales manager' or to another 'salesman'

Is this possible?

It would also be helpfull if when the assigned user updates the status of the todo that the originator gets an update that thier task is 'in progress' or 'completed'.

The user assigned the task gets emails reflecting the task status updates but the assignor of the task doesn't.

Shouldn't they? Or is my 5.0.3 malfunctioning?
