Products are often sold in bundles. A bundle is single product code which in fact is a grouping of one or more other product codes. When a customer orders this single product code they receive several products. The processing can also be used to offer discounts on multiple purchases.

The product grouping "product" should have all the normal product features such as its own price, description etc etc. It should also define a list of other products and the quantity of products within it.

This is very useful for internal use but MAY not be a good thing to expose to a customer.

Examples:

(1)
Product Code "Widget" is 1 widget price 10 pounds.

Product code "Bulk widgets" is 10 widgets price 85 pounds.

(2)
Product code "Workstation 1" has a price of 350 pounds and is a bundle consisting of:

17 inch TFT screen
A standard mouse
A standard keyboard
A PC containing a infinitely fast Pontium 45 processor and 97.6 terabytes of biomagnetic memory.
(ok, I am lying about the specification ---- you don't get the mouse)

You can also buy all the parts separately , but it will cost you more.

I think this ability to group/bundle/BOM/package would be a good addition to Vtiger.

Dear rexahs,

This feature is really great. Currently this option is not available in vtigerCRM.
Kindly let me know if you are ready to take this as a professional service from us.

Thanks & Regards,
R.Tamil mani.
