Hi,

when i want to access to Webmail module, i've got a blank screen .. same when i want to create a new profile after specifying the privileges .. Seems pretty weird :s

I'm using apache 2.2.4, php 5.1.6 and mysql 5.0.27.

Have u already encoutered those errors ?

i've reinstalled a test architecture with WAMP: Version 1.6.5 this time .. Good news, i can create profile but i can't access to the Webmail module ...
Is that normal since i use the required architecture ??

I use IE 6.0 and Firefox 2.0.0.4

ok there's a link problem when u click on the Webmail module button:

http://localhost/vtigercrm/index.php?module=Webmails&action=index&parenttab=My%20Home%20Page
instead of
http://localhost/vtigercrm/index.php?module=Emails&action=index&parenttab=My%20Home%20Page

Hi,

I have the same problem.
I have one enviroment of LAMP + VTIGER 5.03 (clean install) that the link generated is:
http://crm.domain.comtemplate/index.php?module=Webmails....

I also have another enviroment (LAMP):
vtiger 5.03 upgraded from 5.02
in that enviroment, the link which is generated is:
http://crm.domain.com/template/index.php?module=Emails....

I couldn't find a difference between the 2 enviroments.

Any help about how to set it up right in the first env. would be great.

Hello, this is normal behavior for 5.0.3.

It has been changed for 5.0.3.
There is no more link from menu to module Email.

But, from webmail module you can access module Email.

In left field (with email folders) is Sent Mails and under them are links
# Email
# To Contacts
# To Accounts
# To Leads
# To Users

This is way to Email module...

Where exactly do i click to get into Emails module from Webmails module ?

Hi gonen, you have blank page and there is not links to Email module. So, somewhere is problem ;) ...

i have the exact behaviour like SHiSo, but i couldn't find any leads to what the problem might be.

i didn't even see any clue in the error log of my server...

Hi,

i don't know exactly.

There are some threads where is blank page described also for SMTP configuration and distro config reasons, but ...

--> SMTP configuration
--> Email not working as advertised
--> Webmail not working on demo site
--> openSUSE 10.2 + vtiger 5.0.2 + php5.2

After much frustration with the same issue myself I have found the problem to be relatively simple...IMAP support is not compiled into php. The resolution however could be a bit tricky. I chose to upgrade to php 5.2.2 which vtiger doesn't natively support although there are a few easy steps you can take to make it work.
